Real Madrid Issue Eight-Word Response To Arsenal On Rodrygo

Real Madrid have reportedly responded to Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal over the possibility of selling Rodrygo.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been advised to instead target an Aston Villa player.

Since joining from Santos in 2019, Rodrygo has been on Madrid’s books. With three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies under his belt, the 24-year-old forward for Brazil has made a name for himself as one of Los Blancos’ best and most valuable players.

But according to reports, Rodrygo is not totally content at Madrid because he isn’t always playing on his favorite left-hand side of the attack since Kylian Mbappe joined the team last summer.

Under Carlo Ancelotti, the attacker was only able to start 22 La Liga games the previous season.

Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in the forward, and Arsenal are one of the teams most eager to sign him in the summer.

According to Defensa Central as reported by Team Talk, agents have contacted Madrid on behalf of Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

The message that Madrid president Florentino Perez sent them was made public by the Spanish sports publication.

‘For €70million (£59m, $80m) Rodrygo is not for sale’, Perez has reportedly said.

Rodrygo has not yet made a final decision regarding his future, but “pressure from his inner circle could influence and be decisive in a change of heart,” according to the report.
