Robert Lewandowski eventually set a personal milestone against Athletic Club, scoring his 100th and 101st goals for Barcelona in the final La Liga game of the 2024/25 season.

However, in the final match against Athletic Club, he scored again, reminding fans of his ability.
He scored twice before being replaced by Pau Victor, only minutes before Dani Olmo added a third penalty, completing Barcelona’s 3-0 victory.
Missed out on Pichichi
Missed out on Pichichi Lewandowski’s two goals lifted his La Liga tally to 27 for the season. While outstanding, it wasn’t enough to win the Pichichi or the Golden Boot, which went to Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, who scored 31.
Lewandowski, on the other hand, was focused on the team’s success: “We knew it was the last game, and we had a strategy to win.
“We played quite well in the first half, and everything was under control. It’s been an almost flawless season, and we’re relishing the moment.

“After the injury, I needed time to get back in shape. But as a team, we’ve won championships, and that’s what matters,” he said.
Barcelona concluded the season with three medals and great performances, and Lewandowski’s participation throughout the campaign was vital, even if individual accolades slipped away.
Meanwhile, following the final whistle, Lewandowski also took a minute to recognize Oscar De Marcos, who played his last professional match.
“It’s both lovely and tragic. “Every footballer should have this kind of farewell,” Lewandowski said.
