The 21-year-old initially joined City from Fluminense in 2021, with the Premier League champions paying an initial £9 million fee.
Kayky quickly impressed in the Elite Development Squad, helping them win the Premier League 2 title with six goals and four assists.
He made his senior Premier League debut during the 2021/22 season, coming off the bench in a 4-0 win over Norwich.
The Brazilian then spent time on loan at Portuguese club Pacos Ferreira, followed by a temporary switch to Bahia mid-2022/23 season.
Injury halted his momentum, suffering a torn ACL in July 2023, requiring a lengthy recovery before resuming play, reports Manchester Evening News.
Kayky returned to the pitch with a short stint at Sparta Rotterdam before rejoining Bahia later in the 2024/25 campaign.
Manchester City released an official statement, confirming the transfer and wishing Kayky success in the next phase of his career.
His move is part of broader summer changes at City, with several senior players reportedly on the market.
Jack Grealish, Kalvin Phillips, and Kyle Walker are all possible departures before the transfer window closes on September 1.
